42 private rooms that reflect the same size, physical environment and furnishings as the other resident rooms at the Jewish Home. This unit is designed to meet the needs of those elderly who are suffering from stages of dementia. The staffing on this unit is trained to provide stimulation 24 hours a day. This secure unit enables residents to ambulate freely on walking paths, eliminating the need for physical or chemical restraints. Specially skilled recreational staff provides stimulating individual and group programming for dementia residents.
