Sunday evening, October 21st will be a very special evening for the community as it celebrates the Jewish Home Family’s achievements in caring for our elderly, as well as honoring one of the community’s foremost families. The event is the Jewish Home Foundation’s Annual Gala, long considered the Jewish community’s social function of the year. This year’s black tie event will return to the Hilton Woodcliff Lake.
“It’s Showtime” will begin with an extensive buffet dinner, followed by a seated dessert and the glamour and excitement of an evening of fabulous entertainment by two Broadway stars— quintessential performer and song & dance man Bruce Adler, and the hilarious comedian and actor Mal Z. Lawrence.
The Jewish Home is extremely honored to celebrate one of the foremost Jewish families in our community – The Lippmans – William and lovingly remembering Doris z”l, Sherri and Howard Lippman, and Debbie and Stuart Himmelfarb. The whole family is enormously active with numerous community, regional and national organizations, and long time friends and supporters of the Jewish Home. The family’s distinction is one truly deserving and again this year, underscores the message of the need for intergenerational support in fostering programs and services for our elderly.
This year’s Gala is co-chaired by Dianne Nashel of Tenafly, Gayle Gerstein of Alpine and Fran Ziegelheim of Franklin Lakes.
The Journal in honor of the Lippman family is being co-chaired by George Bean of Tenafly, Dennis Gralla of Mahwah, Susan & Deane Penn of Alpine, and Syril Rubin of Fort Lee.
Tickets to the event are $300 and Journal Ad rates range from $200 to $25,000. For information about placing an ad in the Journal, or purchasing tickets to the Gala, contact the Development Office at 201-750-4231.
